Casting Call- Join Our Next Show Peaceophobia

PEACEOPHOBIA

Common Wealth are looking for 2 performers to work with us on our new play PEACEOPHOBIA. Peaceophobia explores Islamophobia, racial profiling and modified car culture.  Conceived by teenagers from Common Wealth’s Speakers Corner, Peaceophobia is about challenging the political, social and cultural narratives surrounding young Muslim men. Part theatre show and part car rally, Peacaphobia will walk the line between political and fun and address the hostility and misunderstanding surrounding Islam. If the word Islam originates from peace, how can you have a fear of peace? Peaceophobia is co-created with Bradford Modified Car Club, Speakers Corner and a co-production with FUEL Theatre and will be performed in Bradford in Sept/Oct 2020 and then tour the UK in Spring/Summer 2021, tour dates to be confirmed.

LOOKING FOR PERFORMERS
