I HAVE MET THE ENEMY (and the enemy is us)
What if we said that Britain (this tiny island) is the second biggest arms dealer in the world?
I Have Met the Enemy (and the enemy is us) is a political techno show that asks us to take a close look at the UK arms trade and its consequences around the world.
Acclaimed site-specific theatre company Common Wealth will transform spaces at the heart of communities into worlds for the audience to explore, charged with light, sound and robotic sculpture.
Palestinian actor Mo’min Swaitat who grew up under military occupation and former soldier Alex Eley who served two tours in Afghanistan, both techno dj’s, will take us on a searching & at times absurd journey into one of the darkest parts of what makes Britain tick.
I Have Met the Enemy is part techno party, part investigation and above all else a call to action.
