Know Your Rights
Want to know more about Public Interest, our new large-scale immersive show debuting in May with Bradford City of Culture 2025?
Join us at Common Space for a series of four workshops about the Criminal Justice System in the UK and how young people are affected by systems that don’t work and are in need of change. Each workshop will be facilitated by a leading speaker in their field and will explore challenges and propose solutions in interactive workshops. They’re all FREE and open to all ages.
JENGbA Report Launch, Saturday 15 March 2025, 3-6pm
We’re partnering with Joint Enterprise Not Guilty by Association (JENGbA), who will also be hosting their report launch with us on Saturday 15th March, 3-6pm. JENGbA is a grassroots campaign supporting prisoners and their families convicted of serious crimes that they did not do using the outdated doctrine of joint enterprise, which is the subject of Public Interest.
You can book to attend the JENGbA Report Launch here.
Resistance and Social Action with Dr Adam Elliot Cooper, Wed 9 April, 5-7pm
For our April workshop, we’ll partner with Dr. Adam Elliot-Cooper, who will discuss the idea of resistance for young people and what we can do as a society to affect change.
Criminalisation of Music and Young People with Adele Oliver, Wed 30 April, 6-8pm
Our March workshop will explore how young musicians can be criminalised for their connection to certain drill, grime and rap.
