What would you like to say to someone living in Llanrumney?
Do you have any unique phrases or nuggets of wisdom you want to impart? What words would spread good vibes?

Inspired by the recent show Epic Fail at Glan-Yr-Afon Primary School, Llarumney-isms will explore how our words have impact, and how being honest and saying stuff out loud can change the world somehow.

Llanrumney-isms is part of Summer of Fun 2022, which aims to support Cardiff’s future generations with their social, emotional, mental and physical wellbeing across the summer holidays.

In this free workshop, we will get to grips with the kinds of positive things we’d like to say out loud, exploring a map of Llanrumney to decide where we should share our amazing words of wisdom. On offer there will be a chance to do some drawing, writing and exploring, or simply sit and have a cup of tea and a chat with us!

The aim of the workshop is to help create an art installation that will be displayed publicly across Llanrumney, incorporating real people’s real words.

Suitable for young people aged 7-12 (parents/caregivers welcome)
