Off Road rewrites narratives around perceived anti-social behaviour. Removing stigma around quad and bike culture, sharing the other side of the story about police encounters and Bradford postcode rivalry. Off Road is a protest, a rave, a bike show, performed out on the street and inside a community centre, telling real stories of growing up through live music, verbatim text and film footage shot with smartphones. Created in collaboration with Bradford Youth Service and co-created by young people and rap artists from Windhill, Wrose & across Bradford.

Off Road was performed at Windhill Community Centre in July 2023 as part of BD Festival. The show continues to be performed as part of training events for Bradford Council, and is used in schools across Bradford to open dialogue around young people’s experiences of growing up in Bradford.
