Because We’re Women

With ASeTTs (The Association for Services to Trauma and Torture Survivors) in Perth, Australia

Alongside touring No Guts, No Heart, No Glory to PIAF (Perth International Art Festival) in Western Australia we spent a week working with twelve women from ten different countries speaking 8 different languages to explore commonality and strength. We worked with movement, the idea of gifting and sound to create a short multi-lingual piece for family and friends that was extremely powerful and memorable. PIAF were amazing and provided a creche and food everyday. We finished the week with a big trip to the beach with all the kids.
