Svidanka

With the New Theatre Institute of Latvia 

We worked as dramaturgical mentors with practitioners from the New Theatre Institute of Latvia to explore work with young male prisoners at a colony. Through regular zoom meetings we explored exercises, practical approaches and how to construct structure and an emotional score to guide the audience through. The performance Svidanka (a Russian slang word for date) was staged at the festival as an installation in a container with video, audio and livestream that explored the question ‘how do we really get to know someone?’
