I grew up in St Mellons, it was much smaller then. It felt safe here, known. We didn’t have disposable income as a family. My parents are grafters, we had a roof over our heads and food in our stomach.

I am the founding director of East Cardiff School of Performance Art C.I.C. We facilitate our students to be the creative resources of the performance. They are the visionaries, directors and designers working in a co-creative way to devise their own theatre pieces. Breaking through perceived barriers.

It has been amazing to collaborate with Common Wealth and the Sounding Board these last couple of years. Cardiff East is full of amazing, talented, generous, aspirational and gifted people.
