May McQuade
Creative Producer (Bradford)
May is a creative producer, facilitator and choreographer whose work connects performance, participation and politics. May managed the creative programme and community engagement for Bradford’s successful bid for UK City of Culture 2025.
At Common/Wealth, May’s credits include Movement Director on Public Interest, Choreographer on Fast, Fast, Slow, and Creative Producer on Off The Curriculum, In Common, and 29% Festival. She also produces and facilitates The Collective.
May has previously worked with Dance United Yorkshire, Mind the Gap, Leaders Unlocked and The Brick Box. May was Community Co-Director for RISE (Bradford UK City of Culture opening event) and Associate Choreographer for Brighter Still (closing event).
Outside of work, May runs a DIY football team, The Bradford Baddies.
