All Out, Curve

All Out, Curve

We worked with 50 people from across 5 community departments at Leicester Curve to create a site-specific play in 5 days that was staged on multiple levels of the neighbouring NCP car park. The piece was devised with the groups and explored Leicester’s recent surprise Premier League football win and what it meant for the city and its people. This was an invite where we really didn’t know what we would make until we arrived and started to chat to people. We worked quick and practically, coming up with ideas collectively and threading together visual inspirations, creating rituals, writing text and playing with big images that animated the car park. It was fun and ambitious and REALLY fun.
