Fahadi

Associate Director

Fahadi joins Common Wealth and National Theatre Wales as Associate Director, as part of the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme.

Fahadi has previously given young people who don’t have a voice an outlet to share what’s important to them. As chairman of Cardiff Youth Council, he represented young people in Cardiff with the goal of achieving meaningful and tangible change for the most vulnerable.

A focus of his work has been on improving mental health and wellbeing services for young people through youth led reform. He has developed large scale conferences and art projects on topics including environmental sustainability and Black History Month.

As Associate Director, Fahadi will continue his advocacy work. His ambition is to open up the arts, and by facilitating creative spaces for people to express themselves, he hopes to bring diversity to the world of art and use it as a tool for change.
