Our Comms Associate Rachel reflects on both the fun and the wider significance of @the_posh_club @duckievauxhall in our East Cardiff community.

Booking for our next Posh Club (12th September) will open on 12th August at 10am – keep an eye out here for more reminders!

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to the wonderful, hilarious and incredible creative force that is our brilliant Co-Artistic Director Evie Manning! Anyone who knows Evie will attest to what an amazing mind she is, she's the driving force and engine to our work, works tirelessly and fiercely to create change in our community!

She supports and uplifts people so generously whether that is through a creative process or supporting new artists and companies in Bradford. She lights up every room, fiercely stands up to injustice, is an incredible mum and friend & makes us belly laugh in the office constantly! Evie is always the first on any dancefloor and is as close to Wonder Woman Bradford gets! And somehow does it all whilst making it look easy and serving iconic looks 💃💃

We love you Evie, have the best day ✨✨✨

We couldn't make Posh Club without our amazing volunteers! We love having volunteers of all ages, both individuals and teams from different organisations.

Our next Posh Club is on 12th September at the Hyb, 30 Crickhowell Road, St.Mellons, Cardiff, CF3 0EF. Booking will be open from 12th August - and of course if you're a volunteer you'll have a ring-side seat for all the action!

An early stage sharing featuring Common Wealth’s Performance Collective, as collaborators and performers. We live alone, we speak multiple languages, we are nerds, we have experience of being failed by the system, we fix things.

Join us to find out what we all have in common. During this performance, we’ll dance, eat together, reflect on the good and the bad. And work together to find collective solutions to personal and political challenges. We’ll learn, discuss, deliberate, and make demands – of ourselves and of others.

This is an R&D of a new outdoor performance designed to take place in, with and by communities on residential streets. As part of 29% Festival ✨ Please dress for the weather! 😎

General Election day is here, it's a strange one.

As a company, we are always trying to make change, shift things, create a movement, activate our communities and highlight inequalities.

Lots of our work is around the power of every day, working-class people coming together to have their voices heard, which feels very prominent today.

Remember to vote. It's a personal and a political choice.

Remember young people, vulnerable people, the people in the community around you when you cast it.

And if you decide not to vote, we encourage everyone to try to make change in their communities, through campaigns, activism, radical care, creativity or the many other ways people create small and big ripples every day. 💥💥💥
